Throughout her life, Fujiko Nakaya collaborated with artists and scientists from various disciplines. Her approach to the themes of nature, science, and chance also influenced a younger generation of artists. Three positions will be shown at Haus der Kunst in parallel to her exhibition: The Japanese artist collective Dumb-Type (6.5. – 11.9.22) explores in three installations how digital media and technologies shape our lives today. Carsten Nicolai (3.6.22 - 17.7.22) presents a sound installation inspired by Japanese Zen gardens. And Jenna Sutela inaugurates the symposium for the exhibition “Fujiko Nakaya. Nebel Leben” on 30.7.22 with a new sculpture for the lobby.
